About me

Nicholas Masucci graduated in 1993 and completed his podiatric surgical training in 2003. He has extensive experience of working with podiatric and orthopaedic teams. He continues to work for the NHS as well as privately, and has over 30 years experience working with foot conditions.

Podiatric surgeons are Podiatrists that have undergone a further qualification involving extensive training in the surgical management of foot and ankle problems. Nicholas Masucci is a fellow of the Royal College of Podiatrists, Faculty of Podiatric Surgery. Nicholas Masucci is annotated on the Health Care Professions Council regulatory body register.

Nicholas Masucci is a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon at Ashford and St Peters NHS Hospitals. He left University College Hospital in 2012 where he gained valuable experience in foot surgery working with Orthopaedic foot and ankle specialist's. Nicholas Masucci is an associate of Surrey Orthopaedic Clinics. Past appointments have been at Newham University Hospital where he was the Lead Podiatric Surgeon at the Gateway Surgical Centre up until January 2018.

His clinical interests are forefoot surgery with specialist interest in Hallux Valgus, bunions, Hallux Rigidus (stiff big toe/arthritis) and correction of toe deformities.

His scope of practice includes all foot problems including Hallux Valgus and bunion correction, revision forefoot surgery, hammer, claw and mallet toe deformities, dislocated toes, metatarsalgia, Morton's neuroma, lumps and bumps, tendon problems, painful verrucae, nail disorders and ingrown toenails.
