About me
Dr Tamim Khanbhai is currently First Team Doctor at Tottenham Hotspur FC and a Consultant in Sport & Exercise Medicine at Homerton University Hospital.
He has extensive experience as a consultant at the Defence Military Rehabilitation Centre (Headley Court) developing a specific interest in complex musculoskeletal and tendon problems, using musculoskeletal ultrasound for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
He has a specialist interest in all sporting injuries and any musculoskeletal problem, acute or long standing. His aim is to undertake a detailed and thorough assessment, providing a tailored management plan and being able to return the patient to their sporting activity, hobby or past time.
He has extensive experience in the management of sporting injuries working in Professional football since 2009, the London Olympics & Paralympic games 2012, London Marathons, British Athletics, part of the medical team at the Wimbledon Tennis Championship 2016, England Women’s Football development teams including European Championships and World Cups. Further to this, whilst on the prestigious London Sport & Exercise Medicine rotation, he worked in specific dance medicine clinics at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.
