About me

I qualified in Dentistry in 1995 and then in Medicine from Guys, Kings and St.Thomas’ Medical school in 2001.The majority of my surgical training was in London, in a wide variety of surgical disciplines.

I gained my certificate of completion of training (CCT) in Maxillofacial training in 2011, and then undertook a European scholarship in Madrid, Spain, where I worked with European facial surgeons, gaining wide ranging experience.

I work at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, and have a varied clinical practice. My subspecialty interests are in trauma and reconstruction, oral and facial deformity, together with interests in facial pain and jaw joint problems. My main philosophy is to provide excellent service and care for my patients.

I am actively involved in teaching and training and have undertaken further training to become a qualified teacher (PGC Med Ed.) teaching medical and dental students, qualified doctors and trainee surgeons. I am currently studying for a Masters in Education, and also undertaking research in this field.

Areas of interest

My NHS practice is based at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, where I have a varied clinical practice in general oral and maxillofacial surgery. I have subspecialty interests in trauma and reconstruction, oral and facial deformity, together with facial pain and jaw joint problems;
I provide a full range of surgical treatments including Botox treatments for facial pain and arthrocentesis for jaw joint problems;
My main practice philosophy is to provide excellent service and care for my patients.
