About me

Dr Amra Rao is a chartered Clinical Psychologist, Psychotherapist and Organizational Consultant. She has been working in NHS since 1992 alongside her private practice. She continues to work in NHS as Head of Specilist Therapy Services. She has been involved in leading and developing psychological therapies services and professional development programmes. She is a trainer, supervisor and practitioner and specialises in CBT, Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy and Mentalisation Based Therapy. She has been involved in developing coaching, reflective practice and leadership programmes in UK and Middle East with various Professional bodies and Buisness schools. She offers short and long term individual, group & family therapies as well as personal development programmes.
