Paras Jethwa is a Consultant General and Laparoscopic Surgeon at East Surrey Hospital. He trained in London, Bristol and the West Midlands. He undertook a specialist year in Western Australia learning advanced laparoscopic techniques before returning to take up his consultant post.

He has performed over two thousand gallbladder operations and has a complication rate well below the national and local average.

He is the lead for laparoscopic surgery at East Surrey Hospital.
