Dr Gupta is a General Paediatrician who looks after children with all common paediatric ailments and has special interest in paediatric epilepsy, headaches and other neurological disorders. He is also the RCPCH tutor involved with teaching and training of junior paediatric doctors. Dr Gupta also chairs the Southeast
thames paediatric epilepsy group.

Dr Gupta is currently involved with multicentric trials on Rolandic epilepsy with kings College Hospitals. His is also principal investigator for multicentre neonatal trials.
Dr Gupta has completed Neonatal Research and has had papers published on timing of cord clamping, anthropmetric measurements and nasal nitric oxide.
