About us

Mr Alkari specialises in complex liver, pancreas and bile duct diseases with a specialist interest in advanced laparoscopic surgical techniques. Mr Alkari contributed to the introduction of a One-Stop Gallstone clinic both at the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and at BMI Albyn Hospital. Mr Alkari is the Clinical Lead for Laparoscopic Spleen Surgery in collaboration with the Haematology Department.
He deals with Gallbladder disease and performs routinely laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
In addition, he has a special interest in the laparoscopic repair of abdominal wall hernia
