He also manages patients with chest pain and breathlessness. He is an expert in performing catheter ablation for all types of arrhythmia and implanting pacemakers, defibrillators (ICDs), loop recorders (Reveal LINQ) and biventricular pacemakers (CRT). He has performed >2,000 electrophysiology studies & ablations and >1,000 device implantation procedures. He performs chronic pacemaker lead extraction and implants left atrial appendage occlusion devices (the Amulet) for patients with AF and high risk of stroke who cannot take anticoagulants or when anticoagulants have failed. He also implants the new Medtronic Micra leadless pacemaker. Dr Segal has >60 publications.
