About me

Nicola Smith graduated from St George's Hospital Medical School London in 1989 where she was awarded a Medical Research Council Grant for her intercollated BSc in Immunology. She trained in General Medicine, obtaining her MRCP in 1992 and subsequently specialised in genito-urinary medicine at St Thomas' Hospital and at the world-renowned unit at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital where she was appointed Consultant in 1988.

Dr Smith's clinical expertise includes all aspects of sexually-acquired infections and sexual health. She has a strong belief in holistic healthcare and patient empowerment.

Dr Smith's main clinical interests include all aspects of vulval disease, from infection to dermatitis and pain.
