About me

With over 20 years of experience in ophthalmology, Mr Reddy’s practice is modern, efficient and caring, putting patient's interests ahead of everything else.

Having qualified in 1995 as a doctor, Mr Aravind Reddy trained in eminent teaching hospitals in the UK and abroad, acquiring a range of qualifications and memberships of specialist international ophthalmic organisations and societies. He was appointed a consultant at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital and Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Aberdeen in 2007 which he holds to date.

He was appointed as Clinical Lead for the Eye Health Network for NHS Grampian in 2013

Mr Reddy is the Regional Advisor to the Royal College of Ophthalmologists for the North of Scotland. He was the Training Programme Director for Surgical Ophthalmology for Scotland North till 2015 and is actively involved in clinical research, and undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
