About me
I am a Urological Consultant, appointed in 2007.
I see patients with many benign conditions of the urinary system -prostate issues, urinary infections, kidney pain, testis pain as well as many more. I will diagnose and treat over 200 urological cancers, including prostate, bladder, kidney, testis and penile. I see patients at Rosshall, as well as The Medical Suite in Glasgow, where I see private GP referrals, and self referrals.
I attended the Glasgow Academy School, then Cambridge University.
I completed my basic and higher surgical training in the West of Scotland.
I was awarded a MD by Glasgow University, on the genetics of bladder cancer .
I am a keen trainer of junior surgeons, and am the West of Scotland Urology Training Program Director, in charge of the training of the registrars in the West.
Areas of interest
All aspects of Urology including prostate/kidney/bladder and penile cancers. Erectile dysfunction, prostatitis, kidney and bladder pain, urine infections, blood in the semen, blood in the urine.
