About me

My name is Jennie Wickenden-Walsh and I have been a practising Accredited Counsellor/Supervisor and Trainer and Psychotherapist in the Essex area, for nineteen years. I have worked in NHS in a multi disciplinary team. I also have been involved in a domestic violence team helping to support families who have been victims of this type of abuse. Also empowering those who feel very insecure and helping them to change patterns that they have created that keep them stuck in very dysfunctional relationships. I have also worked since 2004 in the Priory Psychiatric hospital in Chelmsford as relationship specialist and Trauma Consultant

I am a practising EMDR accredited Supervisor/Consultant Practitioner who works predominantly with post traumatic stress Disorder.

I presently work at the Priory Psychiatric Hospital and have a Private Practice in
Southend-on-Sea
