Hospital data on colorectal cancer patients are annually entered into the National Bowel Cancer Audit. Individual consultant outcomes for elective colorectal cancer surgery are not published in Wales (unlike England). Audit of my own results over a similar 5 year period to English surgeons shows a 90 day post operative mortality of 4/266 (<2%).
