About me

I graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1993 and initially worked and trained in the West of Scotland.
On passing Part 2 FRCS and completing the Junior Surgical Training scheme, I moved to Yorkshire in 1997 as a Research Fellow with the Leeds Institute for Minimally Invasive Therapy (LIMIT) that was headed by Professor McMahon. My research led to the award of MD from the University of Glasgow in 2003.
Subsequently I joined the Higher Surgical Training scheme in Yorkshire and was appointed to my current consultant post in Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust in 2007.
