About me

I studied at the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine in London, gaining my MBBS (London) qualification in 1991. I have worked in London, Cornwall and Australia in General and Emergency Medicine, and passed the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians exams (MRCP) in 1996. My career in Anaesthetics began in 2000 on the Oxford Hospitals rotation, passing my exams and gaining Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA) in 2002. I completed specialist training in 2007 and took up a substantive consultant post in Anaesthetics in 2008 at the Horton Hospital in Banbury, Oxfordshire. This hospital is part of the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. I have been on the Specialist Register (Anaesthetics) since 2007.
