About me

I qualified as a Chiropractor in South Africa in 2002, and after completing the UK Board exams, registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) in 2004. Having gained experience in Dublin and London, I took up Practice in Romsey late 2007, settling here with my young family. I take great interest in providing personalised care for the range of musculoskeletal complaints that walk through our clinic doors. I treat adolescents through to post-retirement age-groups, with a range of evidence-based manual therapy techniques to reduce pain and improve function, whilst investing heavily in teaching patients to self-manage their complaints, with bespoke exercise presciption and postural coaching.

Following a good chat to take a medical history, understand your complaint fully and to exclude any red flags to care, you will undergo a concise examination, where after I will give you a working diagnosis and explain our treatment options / management plan. Should your complaint not be within my scope of practice, I will refer you back to your GP. After addressing any concerns you may have and with your consent, treatment will involve hands-on-care - Manual therapy options we may employ will depend on the diagnosis and your age-group, and may include: soft tissue work (massage, trigger point therapy, IASTM (fascial release therapy), dry-needling 'medical accupuncture', stretch therapy, kinesio and traditional taping), along with spinal manipulation / mobilzation and peripheral joint manipulation / mobilization. Specific simple home exercises and postural - movement advice are part of the overall plan, with the aim of addressing your pain and returning you to work or play, as quickly as possible.

My Clinic in Romsey has been established for over 20 years, and has strong ties with local Pilates and Yoga Studios, as well as Personal Trainers, Podiatrists and Physiotherapists, should the need arise to recommend further care. We aim to get you better, and keep you better.
