His unit in London has been designated as an International Centre of Excellence for Bariatric Surgery and Mr Ahmed now sits on the prestigious International Bariatric Surgery Review Committee (IBSRC), comprised of top bariatric surgeons from around the world. He was also elected to sit on council of the British Obesity and Metabolic Surgery Society.

I have completed a PhD degree at Imperial College London investigating these further.
I enjoy playing squash, travelling, and photography in the little spare time that I get!
