About me

I am a Clinical Psychologist and CBT therapist of over 40 years experience, most of which was in the NHS.

Up to 2013 I was the Clinical Lead for a Primary Care Psychological Therapy Service before moving into full time private practice.

Whilst CBT is my main therapeutic model, accredited with the BABCP, I am also an EMDR practitioner, I use Mindfulness Meditation therapeutically and also use ACT (Acceptance and Committment Therapy) and Schema Therapy.

My special interest is in helping people who have suffered from traumatic incidents resulting in difficulties such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

I am also experienced at working with chronic pain.

I have regularly supervised other therapists for many years in particular during the period as Clinical Lead supervising up to 8 other professionals in the delivery of Psychological Therapies.
