About me
I studied medicine at Oxford University before completing my surgical training in the West Midlands. My higher degree from Birmingham was is the proteomics (protein changes) associated with colorectal cancer. I am a consultant and Clinical Service Lead for general surgery at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham and practice at the Priory Hospital, Edgbaston. I have particular expertise in open and laparoscopic hernia surgery including complex abdominal wall repair using component separation techniques and pre-operative botox injection. I also regularly operate for bowel cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and other benign colorectal conditions such as hernias, pilonidal sinuses, haemorrhoids and fistulas.
