About me

Dr Orlando González [MD (Colombia); DPH (London); FRCPsych. (London)], Consultant Neuropsychiatrist based in Lincolnshire.

Diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of mental illnesses, including affective disorders such as depression, manic depressive illness, anxiety, and panic disorders . Also, management of phobias, obsessive compulsive neurosis (OCD) , alcohol dependence and personality disorders. Diagnosis and treatment of psychotic illnesses such as mania, Schizophrenia, delirium, and dementia (memory problems).The management of psychological complications of neurological diseases such as Parkinson's Disease, Huntington's Chorea, MS, Stroke, Epilepsy and others.

The diagnosis and management of Alzheimer's Disease and other types of dementia constitute an area of significant expertise.

I am a full time NHS Consultant Psychiatrist with Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. I am dually registered in General Adult Psychiatry (Adults of Working Age) and Old Age Psychiatry with the General Medical Council of the United Kingdom.

Private patients come from around the East Midlands, and further afield, with train times from London's Kings Cross to Grantham a convenient 1hr 10 mins. Consultations are offered in two languages, English and Spanish.
