About us

Howard is Clinical Lead - Co Director of Brighton Therapy Centre, a registered charity which he co - founded in central Brighton in 2012. He has over 25 years experience practicing psychotherapy in community, private and NHS settings including the following:
2001-2007 Psychotherapist; Partnerships in Care
2007 - 2013 Principal Adult Psychotherapist; Sussex Partnership NHS Trust
2013- present Director of Group Therapies & Consultant Psychotherapist, Brighton Therapy Centre
Howard has specialist training in group and individual psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
At Brighton Therapy Centre, Howard is author and convenor of The Mood Course : an evidence based, clinically tested 24 week course for managing depression, mood swings and anxiety.
Brighton Therapy Centre have over 45 practitioners, many of whom are BUPA registered offering a full range of therapies. BTC is committed to making therapy more widely available and offers a low cost initial consultation to help clients to find the right therapy for them.
