About me

Dr Jesse Kumar is a Consultant Endocrinologist working at Maidstone Hospital. After completion of his higher Specialist Training as a Diabetes Registrar in the South Thames region, Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospital, he started as a Consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology in 2006. Dr Kumar was appointed as the Clinical Lead physician (2007) and then as the Clinical Director for Acute and Emergency Medicine at Maidstone Hospital (2008 to 2011). Dr Kumar worked as the Lead for Diabetes Commissioning for Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust from 2011 to 2016 and he is also the Honorary Senior Lecturer for King’s College London (since 2010).
