About me
Dr Maxine Hogarth trained at Liverpool University Medical School and qualified in 1989. In 1992, she moved to London and commenced Higher Specialist Training at Hammersmith Hospital. In 1993, she was awarded an MRC training fellowship to conduct research evaluating the genetic aspects of inflammatory disease. As a result of this she was awarded a PhD degree in 1997. She was appointed as Consultant Rheumatologist to Ealing Hospital in 2001, where she supervises a busy Rheumatology service and is an integral part of a successful musculoskeletal multidisciplinary team including Rheumatologists, Orthopaedic Surgeons, Radiologists, Physiotherapists and Nurse Practitioners. She is an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Imperial College School of Medicine; responsible for the undergraduate training in Rheumatology at Ealing Hospital.
