As a highly specialised Speech and language therapist in the field of voice as well as Head and Neck Cancer I see many patient for speech and swallowing problems following treatment. I also see patients diagnosed with Parkinson's dsease as I am a trained LSVT ( Lee Silverman Voice Treatment) practicioner. My previous extensive experience with patients with neurologic conditions allows me to treat patients with speech, voice and swallowing problems after CVA ( Stroke) as well as with other chronic conditions such as MS. I will only treat more complex conditions and complex presentations if I am allowed to liase with the consultant(s) in charge. I always recommend my voice patients to see an ENT consultant.
