About me

Mr Sharma has trained in general and vitreo-retinal ophthalmic surgery having completed Fellowship training both at St. Thomas' Hospital and Moorfield's Eye Hospital in London. He has specialised in diseases of the retina for the last 10 years and treats patients with macular holes, puckers and vitreo-macular traction.

In addition he carries out cataract surgery tailored to each individual after a thorough assessment of the patient's needs and previous ophthalmic history. He regularly treats urgent cases of retinal detachment and its associated complications.

He is recognised as an expert witness in medico-legal work.
