About me

I have substantial experience of providing therapy within NHS services and the independent sector. I qualified as a Counselling Psychologist in 2006. Before this I worked as a Specialist Counsellor in Drug and Alcohol Treatment Services and also as a Counsellor in GPs surgeries for seven years. I am particularly focused on working as a therapist to help people with a wide range of difficulties. I believe in people's capacity to grow, change and heal through therapy. My main approach to therapy is cognitive behavioural. However, I am trained in a number of other approaches that I can integrate into therapy to help people.
