About me

Following graduation in medicine and dentistry I specialised in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery.
During this time I achieved the Fellowship of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (Surgery in General) in June 2000, followed by the Fellowship of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) in October 2000 and finally the Fellowship in Dentistry of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in April 2001.
Subsequently, I was appointed as an Oral and Maxillofacial /Head and Neck/Skull Base/Reconstructive Surgeon at Sheffield Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and as Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at University of Sheffield in July 2006.
My particular area of interest is facial reconstructive surgery following cancer and trauma.
