About me

I have over 20 yrs experience working as a Psychotherapist in both the NHS and private sector. I am a Senior Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and a Registered Member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy. I am a qualified Group Analyst and a Full Member of the Institute of Group Analysis, London.
I have specialist skills in working with people who suffer from depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, work place stress, addiction issues and personality issues. I work with individuals, couples and groups. Working from both a cognitive analytic and group analytic perspective, I aim to help each of my patients to identify the source of their difficulties, enabling them to integrate and process the various problematic aspects of their personality.
I am passionate about group analytic thinking and I currently hold the chair of the IGA committee of New Readings in Group Analysis. In my private practice I conduct once weekly and twice weekly group analytic therapy groups. In addition, I conduct a once weekly Experiential Group for students on the psychodynamic counselling training at Manor House Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am also a qualified and experienced Clinical Supervisor.
