- Gynaecological oncology
I have been practising in the NHS for 25 years . In my practice I look after women with gynaecological malignancy and also benign gynaecological conditions. I obtained UK dual accreditation from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in obstetrics, gynaecology and gynaecological oncology in 2006 and I am on the specialist register of the General Medical Council.
As a consultant I have 12 years experience as a gynaecologist and I run a private practice at James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough, Tees Valley Hospital and the BMI Woodlands Hospital Darlington.

I am an active clinical research advocate. I have made contributions to research recruitment to NIHR clinical trials in the UK and I have been local PI on a number including UKCTOCS, UKFOCS, EORTC 55971, PORTEC 2, PORTEC 3, ICON 7, ICON 8, and CHORUS. I am currently recruiting into GROINSS-V II, SHAPE and ICON8B. I am currently Chief Investigator for ROBOQOL, a trial looking at patient recovery after Robotic surgery.
