Dr Anna Martinez is a consultant Paediatric Dermatology and Specialty Lead of the Service at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust and Honorary Lecturer at the Institute of Child Health, University College London.
She trained at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London.
Anna has been nominated for colleague of the year at GOSH and voted in the top three doctors for the Health Hero Awards in 2018
Dr Martinez set up and runs the combined allergy/dermatology service at GOSH
Areas of interest
Anna treats children with all skin conditions but has clinical expertise in managing eczema, birthmarks, vascular malformation and genetic skin disorders. Dr Martinez run a programme of numerous clinical trials into novel therapies for different skin conditions

Dr Martinez’ special clinical interests are skin fragility disorders, difficult eczema; vascular anomalies and genetic disorders of the skin, in particular the inherited ichthyoses and Netherton syndrome which she manages at GOSH
