About me

I trained at King’s College, London, and undertook basic surgical training in London, the South East, Bristol and Cheltenham. I then moved on to research under the supervision of Professor Paul Abrams in Bristol, and the award of an MD by the University of London. My higher surgical training was completed on the South West training rotation in Devon, Gloucestershire, Bristol and Bath.
In February 2006 I was appointed Consultant Urological Surgeon in Worcestershire. My experience encompasses general urology including prostate and bladder cancer, kidney and ureteric stones, erection problems, haematuria, prostate and bladder problems, along with work in incontinence, and paediatric urology. In Worcestershire I also led the implementation of laser prostatectomy (HoLEP), and worked closely with the Kidderminster Prostate Cancer Support Group.
I was appointed Consultant Urological Surgeon to Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in 2013. I continue to provide a broad General urology service, with specialist interests in female urology, urodynamics, paediatric urology, and laser treatment for prostate problems and stones.
