About me

I qualified from St Bartholmew's hospital London in 1991. Following house jobs I taught anatomy at Cambridge university before becoming an expedition medic with Raleigh International.My Core surgical training was in and around Manchester. I was a Research at Harvard Medical School Boston USA and was awarded my Masters. I spent another ear overseas as a Senior Registrar at Flinders Medical school Adelaide.
I am an ex Council member of the Association of laparoscopic surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland (ALSGBI) representing the Northern and Yorkshire region and also an ex Council Member and sub committee chair of education and teaching of the British obesity and metabolic surgical society (BOMSS)
I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeon of England and examiner for the membership examine. I Recently commission to the Royal Army Medical Corps (RAMC)
