About me

I qualified as an Osteopath with a BSc(Hons) in 2000 and am the Clinical Director of Hertfordshire Sports Clinics (Osteopathy First Ltd). I was was selected in 2011 as one of the few osteopaths to work within the central medical teams at both the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games within the inter-disciplinary Physical Therapies teams. My personal interests are in lower limb biomechanics, sporting footwear, and orthotic prescription as well as patients with hypermobility. I have Post Graduate qualifications in both Pilates and Sports Injury Management & Rehabilitation and uses both as an adjunct to treatment when treating long term musculo-skeletal problems in patients who have recurrent or chronic injury. I receive regular referrals from both consultants and other practitioners of patients who are unresponsive to standard treatment regimes. My patient list includes elite level runners, cyclists, swimmers, triathletes, golfers, stuntmen, professional tennis, rugby and football players as well as the general public. I particularly enjoy working with patients both pre and post operatively, working to help them achieve their goals and return to strength and function. I am a full member of the British Osteopathic Association and the Osteopathic Sports Care Association.
