About me
I was appointed as a consultant surgeon to Good Hope Hospital in 2004. I offer both elective and emergency care in general and colorectal surgery. I am a specialist in colorectal surgery and have a special interest in the management of inflammatory bowel disorders. I offer ileo-anal pouch surgery to patients with colitis, in order to avoid the need for a permanent stoma. In last 8 years as a consultant colorectal surgeon I have operated on nearly 150 bowel cancers.
