About me

I was awarded the Lang Research Fellowship by the Royal College of Surgeons of England and undertook this research at Frenchay Hospital in Bristol. I undertook my Neurosurgical training in Oxford and have been in post as a consultant neurosurgeon in Oxford since November 2004. I am a member of the Society of British Neurological Surgeons. I am currently President of the Neuromodulation Society of UK and Ireland. My sub-specialty areas include spine, spinal tumours and neuromodulation. I enjoy spending time with family/friends, watching rugby (having previously played) and gardening.
