Areas of interest
My focus is the detection and treatment of liver tumours.
Having developed a national reputation in the use of drug eluting beads (TACE) I have now focused on setting up and providing the southern SIRTEX ( radioembolisation) service for liver tumours.
Recently I introduced delcath (isolated liver perfusion service) the first and only in the UK and only one of a handful in the world. With these new tools I hope to treat liver tumours without the morbidity associated with conventional treatments.
