About me

Richard trained as an undergraduate at St Thomas's Hospital London. He undertook his surgical and Plastic Surgical Training in Oxford, Northampton, Stoke Mandeville, Stevenage, Nottingham, Derby and Leicester. He had a very diverse thorough training in Plastic Surgery which enabled him to develop specialist skills in complex soft tissue reconstruction. He was appointed as Consultant Plastic Surgeon in Norwich in 2005 and was appointed as Clinical Director of Plastic Surgery in 2007. He has always had a keen interst in training junior surgeons and was nominated for the Royal College of Surgeons Silver Scapal award. He was voted by his peers as one of the top breast reconstruction surgeons in the UK. He lectures national and internationally on microsurgery and reconstruction
