About me

Frank Webb DPodM, MSc., FCPodS., FCPodM., FFPM RCPS(Glasg).
Qualified in1987 and was promoted to a Diabetic Foot Team at Hope Hospital. Further skills were developed in Rheumatology, Peripheral Vascular Disease and Renal Impairment with an interest in Orthotics and Biomechanical function of the lower limb. Frank has extensive experience in orthotic and surgical treatment of the sports patient with foot and ankle injuries.

Frank undertook surgical training and was awarded a Fellowship in Podiatric Surgery in 1995. Working at Hope Hospital gained experience of surgical management of the foot and ankle at other centres including Hereford, Solihull and Doncaster. In 2003, Becoming a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon with a specialist interest in the high risk foot at Hope Hospital.

On the organising Committee of FDUK (Foot in Diabetes UK) and was on the Advisory Board for minimum standards in Rheumatology, supported by Arthritis & Rheumatism Counsel.

In 2009 commenced work for Greenwich developing there podiatric surgery unit by taking on the high risk foot surgery. In 2011 took up Lead Consultant Podiatrist at Buxton carrying on the podiatric surgery and also bringing in the High Risk Diabetic foot surgery linking with the Stepping Hill Hospital MDFC. Have been appointed to represent Podiatry on the conference organising committed for DUK. Was awarded a Fellowship in Podiatric Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Glasgow 2014.
