About us
We are one of the few recognised quality assured clinics. A quality assured clinic (QAC) is a private physiotherapy practice that is achieving quality standards across the whole clinic. Quality assured clinics are offered the kite mark based on reported patient outcomes - i.e. the results we achieve for our clients.
As a clinic we have a shared goal - keep you doing what you love. No matter how small or big your goal may be, we will do our best to get you back to doing the things that you enjoy the most.
We have an excellent line of communication with consultants to give our patients a fully holistic approach to their care. If we are unable to get the results we expect after a few sessions we will (with your permission) discuss your case with your GP or an appropriate consultant and help organise further investigations.
We have our own clinical pathways for specific injuries/post operative conditions to ensure that no matter which physiotherapist you book in with, your treatment will always be research based and of the highest quality. Treatment will normally consist of manual therapy and exercises specifically targeted to your condition and your daily routine to make sure your exercise programme is easy to achieve.
If our patients are struggling with pain or weight bearing post injury, surgery or fracture, we have a partnership with AquaPhysio - a hydrotherapy centre located just a few miles away. Here you can have your physiotherapy in a reduced weight-bearing/pain-free environment which helps get you moving quicker and maintain your strength whilst injured. With many of our therapists working across both sites this means we can offer continuity of care for both areas of your rehabilitation.
We also have new and emerging equipment and can offer additional treatments such as extracorporeal shockwave therapy and neuromuscular electrical stimulation. We can also refer you to some of our in-house classes such as pilates, or our workshops.
All of our physiotherapists are HCPC and CSP registered and embark on CPD (continuing professional development) training each year, so as healthcare evolves, we evolve with it.
