Susan Merrick qualified as a dietitian in 1993. Then followed 2 years general dietetics work in a general hospital, 4 ½ years in health promotion and 2 ½ years in clinical community dietetics. Since 2002 she has worked in the field of clinical nutrition support, as a team leader and Macmillan Dietitian in the NHS.
Susan’s main areas of interest and expertise are dietary and nutrition support advice (with food, supplements, and artificial feeding) for adults. Susan is also fully trained in IBS management (including FODMAPs) and in the dietary management of Coeliac disease. A member of Coeliac UK, the British Dietetic Association and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council
