About me

I am a German clinical psychologist and psychotherapist, trained in Heidelberg, Germany. I worked for 9 years in a major rehab centre in Heidelberg, followed by 15 years in the NHS. Since 2001 I am self-employed. My special clinical interest is trauma work. I have developed, with a specially qualified physiotherapist, the Integrated Trauma Therapy, a joint physical and psychological approach.
I teach regularly on the doctorate training program for clinical psychologists, and also provide consultancy supervision to various professionals.

My special interest is trauma work. I have developed, together with an approved and specialised physiotherapist, an integrated trauma therapy approach that involves both of us working jointly with the patient. It proves highly successful as both the psychological as well as the physical effect of trauma are addressed simultaneously.
