About me

Jonathan Melhuish, Doctor of Chiropractic. DC BSc. MCC (Orth) Certified Extremity Practitioner.

Graduated from The AECC in Bournemouth 1991 and has worked at the New Milton Chiropractic Clinic since then. He has worked in the Wimborne cranial clinic "Back in Balance" since 2005.
He mainly uses the highly respected Gonstead technique. He has completed post graduate studies in Spinal Rehabilitation and is a Certified Extremities Practitioner (Sports Treatment qualification).

A trip to Australia enabled him to master a chiropractic technique called Advanced BioStructural Correction (ABC), which systematically treats the spine.

He also uses soft tissue techniques such as massage and stretching and dry needling using acupuncture needles to complement his chiropractic treatment.

Jonathan has a special interest in shoulder problems and has completed training in the Niel-Asher Technique for frozen shoulders, a highly effective treatment that has been shown to be much more successful than other therapies for this debilitating condition.
