About me
Caroline Thomas graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 1998 and quickly established her own practice. With a wide range of patients from the very young to the elderly, Caroline learnt to focus on the person and not on the condition. She believes in good communication empowering patients through knowledge and self awareness to prevent future reocurrences of pain.
An interest in pregnancy and the postural adaptations of the body inspired Caroline to complete a 2 years Masters Degree in Paediatric Osteopathy. Her treatment of babies and children combine the practical knowledge gained from being a mother herself with osteopathic knowledge to offer understanding and insight to other parents. Cranial Osteopathy, which is a very gentle treatment is used when assessing and treating babies and young children.
Caroline works using predominantly massage and stretching techniques however treatments are always adapted for the individual patient. Patients are very welcome to phone Caroline if they are not sure that their problem is suitable for Osteopathy and would like to discuss it first.
