About me

I am a Cognitive Analytic Psychotherapist and Supervisor (UKCP reg'd). CAT is for people with unhelpful patterns that affect their self-to-other and self-to-self interactions. Usually 16 weekly one hour sessions to complete, CAT sees patterns as 'roles' played to an 'audience' of self or other. We work on adjusting the script, voice and, 'appearance' of the roles by reflecting on personal history, beliefs, and attitudes. Our work is summarised in jointly prepared letters, diagrams, questionnaires, and self-statement help lists.
