About me

I have been a UKCP registered psychotherapist since 2003. I did a 5 year psychotherapy training at Metanoia Institute in London, validated by Middlesex University.
I previously trained as a counsellor and worked in Horsham Hospital Psychiatric Day Unit for 7 years.
I originally qualified as a general nurse and specialised in acute care and dialysis. I was a nurse clinical teacher.
Since 2003 I have undertaken many post graduate courses related to: Trauma in Adults and Children, Depression, Anxiety, Phobias, Bereavements, Divorce, Personality disorders, Anger Issues, Abuse, Neglect, Disordered Eating, Performance anxieties.
I have a special interest in how psychological and emotional experiences are embodied, and how the body is a major route to healing and growth.
