I am a fully qualified and experienced Psychotherapist from The Tavistock Clinic, London as well as a Chartered and Consultant Clinical Psychologist, specialising in work with both Adults and Adolescents /Young People.
I worked in the NHS for over 25 years providing Psychological treatment to a range of clients in outpatient settings.
I have experience of working with Adults, adolescents and young people to adults who have experienced transient difficulties through trauma or crisis that sometimes result in stress, anxiety and depression. I also have extensive experience of working with clients who have suffered profound emotional difficulties in their early lives that have resulted in enduring personality difficulties that often culminate in self destructive behaviour and problematic relationships.
Bearing in mind that when the client comes for help with their difficulties, they need to feel they are in safe and competent hands, I try to do this by being responsive and ethical in my approach and address what obstructs the client’s capacity to live a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
