About me

With 30 years of academic knowledge and 20 years of clinical experience, Dr Loumidis is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Director of Expert Psychologists Ltd. He is an HCPC Registered and BPsS Chartered Psychologist. He qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 1996, after 10 years of University and NHS clinical training in England. Having lectured at Universities and practiced for many years in the NHS and in part time private practice, he now works exclusively in private practice. Dr Loumidis has assessed and treated hundreds of patients with a wide range of clinical problems. He offers a wide range of scientifically based and clinically tested psychological treatments or therapy. He has received specialist training in cognitive and behavioural therapies (CBT) and has years of experience in the practice of CBT. He has published numerous papers on CBT in peer reviewed scientific journals. He is a Registered Independent Expert Witness providing expert opinion in Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence and Employment Law, and . He also offers Rehabilitative Psychological Therapies for injured parties. He has extensive experience in clinical interviewing and psychometric testing. He has directed, designed and taught various professional and postgraduate university courses. He has supervised and trained various mental health professionals. He has conducted clinical research and authored a range of publications in peer-reviewed journals and books.
