About me

My core belief is that everyone deserves to be content. Contentment is a good place to aim for. Many find it difficult to seek help because there remains a stigma about mental health issues. I wish I could take that stigma away and hope I do in the way I practice from the time I receive an e-mail to the time sessions conclude.
I am very much a people person.

I have worked in the fields of counselling, psychotherapy and psycho sexual therapy for 26 years both privately and in the NHS both in hospitals and GP practices. In addition I have worked for Employee Assessment programmes and I am a trained trauma therapist .

I work with both adults and children and was a Child Protection officer for 4 years when working in the NHS.

I am happy to work:
face-to face
with Skype

I enjoy the diversity of the work on a day-to-day basis. My aim, when the therapy comes to an end, is to have enabled the individual to move on with their life having learned skills and techniques to do so.
