About me

I qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 1985 from Leeds University and received my PhD in 2010 from King's College London.

Since qualifying I have worked across physical and mental health settings with both adults of working age and older adult services in the NHS and Privately. I have also worked in senior professional management for many years and have provided training to local authorities, NHS Trusts, University departments and private sector organisations. I have published both books and research papers and have recently co-authored a wellbeing evaluation tool for use with people over 55 years of age which is published through Pearson. I am an honorary senior lecturer at Birmingham University (School of Psychology) and Aston University (Medical School)
