About me

I have over 30 years experience in the NHS and private practice, having established a substantive consultant podiatric surgeon's post at Solihull Primary Care Trust. I was engaged by the University of Central England (now Birmingham City University) for two years as a lecturer in podiatry and have been engaged as a part-time senior lecturer in podiatry by Anglia Ruskin University. I studied for, and gained a diploma in education.
I have lectured and published widely on foot complaints as well as lecturing at the NEC Primary Care Conference, The Association of Surgeons in Primary Care and to other national conferences on foot pathology. I carry out medico-legal work, am a member of the Register of Expert Witnesses and have been engaged by the Health Ombudsman as an expert witness.
